The disposable medical mask that we usually buy at a pharmacy is a medical surgical mask. It has two sides, the dark side, with the blue side facing outward and the lighter side facing inwards, close to our face.

The main precautions for wearing masks are:

1. The mask has white and blue sides, with the white side facing in and the side with the metal strip facing up, first tie the lower two bands behind the neck and tighten it! Make the underside of the mask reach the root of the chin;

2. Pull up the belt on the upper edge of the mask and cover the mouth and nose with the mask. The upper two straps are pulled to the back of the ear and fastened to the head and cannot be tied to the ear.

3. Use the two-handed index finger to press the metal wire on the upper part of the nose of the mask to make it close to the skin of the nose, and then gradually move the food to both sides. It is the whole mask that is close to the facial skin. (As shown in FIG).

Wearing step:

First, wash: First, wash your hands to prevent dirty hands from contaminating the inside of the mask;

Second, hanging: The mask across the face and nose, with both hands hanging on both ends of the rope on the ear;

Third, pull: as shown in the figure below, both hands at the same time up and down the mask to open the folds, so that the mask can completely cover the nose and nose and chin;

Fourth, pressure: Finally, with the index finger of both hands pressed against the metal strips on both sides of the nose, so that the upper end of the mask can close to the bridge of the nose.

In addition, you need to remind everyone to pay attention to: after wearing masks, to avoid frequent contact masks to prevent the reduction of protective effect; take off the mask, put it in a tape or paper bag, and then put it in a covered trash can, and Wash your hands in time; do not reuse disposable masks.

Correct wear of medical N95 masks:

1. First, the headband should be pulled loose every 2-4 cm. The hand goes through the mask headband and the metal nose moves forward.

2. Wear a mask and close to the face. Put the headband on the head and place it behind the head. Then pull the lower headband over your head and place it behind your neck. Adjust it to a comfortable position.

3. The two fingertips are along the metal strips of the bridge of the nose, from the middle to the sides, pressing slowly inwards until they reach the bridge of the nose.

4. Cover your mask with both hands and perform positive and negative pressure tests. (Positive pressure test: Cover your mask with your hands, and exhale vigorously. If the air overflows from the edge of the mask, that is, if you wear it improperly, you must re-adjust the headband and nose metal strips; negative pressure test: Cover your mask with your hands and exhale vigorously. If the air enters the edge of the mask, it will be re-adjusted and the metal strips on the bridge of the nose will be re-adjusted. This shows that the side with the metal strip should be inward.
