Oral swabs are composed of three parts: sampling swab head, sleeve rod and push rod. They are used to collect and preserve exfoliated cells of oral mucosa.
You can do it yourself at the medical center, at your company, or at home.
First rinse your mouth with water 2-3 times to keep your mouth clean.
Then take out the oral swab, gently press the cotton tip of the Huacenyang swab against the inner wall of the mouth to make the cheek slightly protrudent, one time up and one time down, scraping for 20 times.
After the swab is finished, insert the swab head into the sample collection tube, push the swab's back rod with your finger, insert the swab head into the tube, tighten the tube cover, and shake well.
Then take another swab and repeat on the other side of the mouth. The collected DNA can be stored at room temperature.
